Broker's Comments

This Jeanneau Sunrise presented in very good condition and is a remarkably quick and easily handled 35 ft yacht.

Upgraded with numerous internal improvements and new sails. Both genoa and main were replaced with tri-radial taffeta sandwich cloth in 2010. The main was changed to fully-battened. Earlier upgrades on the mast include a stronger masthead crane plate and various titanium spinnaker pole fittings.
She has been to Bergen in Norway and most places on the west coast between the Isle of Man and Cape Wrath, Donegal included. A competent cruising yacht.
In a good sailing wind of 12-18 Knots it is quite easy to get her going along at 7 to 8 Knots under sail. Depending on the point of sail, using 1 reef over 15 Kts wind may be more effective. We have had 7Kts+ on a reefed genoa alone in 25-28kts on occasion.

Many mid sized boats are wheel steered today although the Sunrise has a well balanced tiller and is light on the helm, more in keeping with current race practice than cruising practice.

New Raymarine Autohelm in 2016,
New tiller cover in 2016.
3 Cabin interior layout. 2 aft doubles and V double berth in the forepeak.
Considerable stowage below all the berths.
Interior has been re-lined and fully insulated for UK weather. Closed cell foam against the hull and coach roof through out. (heads, forepeak and hanging lockers) All covered in a soft cloth lining for a pleasant tactile experience, A vast improvement on the original open foamed white vinyl.
LED lighting throughout, spot reading lamps and linear LED strips. (2 oil lamps in the saloon for occasional use. Spot at the chart table
1 Heads – Jabsco sea toilet. Shower fitting with hot/cold water, electric pump out for shower and hand basin. S/Steel basin replacing plastic original.
Cooker – Neptune 4500 2 burner / over + grill new 2014. (new gas hoses 2017)
Storage below for pots and pans.
Hot water System- new Calorifier 2017- powered by Eberspacher D5W, providing hot water and warm air heating to the Saloon.
Fridge / coolbox – converted 2014 with Waeco fridge kit.
