Designed by Chris Butler and built by his company the Achilles 9m won the OSTAR in 1984 with Chris Butler at the helm. They are a seaworthy cruiser/racer but they are not sparsely fitted out the accommodation is very suitable for cruising it can sleep up to 5 people and the headroom is good. This one had a new engine in 2004 and has a good inventory. There are a few chips and scratches but nothing that looks serious and we think she is a very good value 9m boat.
Appointments to view can be arranged in advance 6-days a week by contacting the Boatshed Essex office direct.
