Broker's Comments

This 1963 Grand Banks 35' Chantyman Trawler, built by American Marine, appears in excellent condition AND has a newer John Deere engine (installed 2011). All fuel tanks were replaced in 2006 with 4 aluminum tanks totaling 200 gallons. The Westerbeke generator has less than 100 hours.

A really big feature is that the vessel was hauled in 2021 and serviced by ABHARDING, a professional shipwright / marine carpentry shop in Ballard, WA. The boat was found to be a fine example of original construction, practical design and considerate upkeep. A full inspection was completed at that time.

A partial list of recent improvements follows:
- Isolation power transformer
- Magnum inverter/charger
- Lewmar stern thruster
- Balmar 200 amp alternator
- SeaWise & Weaver davit system

This is a very classic and very unique trawler.
