This Hyundai S240 engine was built by Hyundai as a factory modified version of its S270 engine, and is rated for continuous duty at full throttle (not that you would necessarily want to do that -- but you could!).

The Hyundai V6 diesel engine block is constructed from Compacted Graphite Iron (CGI) which Hyundai reports to be lighter and quieter than conventional grey cast iron, while demonstrating much higher tensile strength, stiffness and fatigue strength than steel or aluminum.

This is really a terrific engine -- not well-known in the US yet, but very popular and well-regarded elsewhere for its quiet, smooth operation, reliable long-life performance even in commercial applications, and design for straightforward servicing.

Whisper Power M-SC 3.5 generator in sound enclosure. Located in lazarette for quiet. Exhaust/water separator further reduces noise while in operation.

Broker's Comments

This update / redesign of the venerable Camano 31 has won a lot of praise, particularly for the interior changes which make this a true yacht, in a compact size. The master stateroom is a real stateroom, with separate head and shower compartments. The galley is large and very usable. And the craftsmanship is nothing less than you would see on the finest yachts.

This compact trawler offers amazing comfort and live-ability for a couple with a large galley, lots of storage throughout, and a master suite (with separate head and shower compartments) comparable to much larger boats. The flybridge is comparatively enormous.

Equipped with a generator, reverse-cycle heat/air and a deluxe galley including induction cooktop and convection microwave, Corian countertop, and a 7 cu. ft. Nova-Kool refrigerator.

Powered by a Hyundai SeasAll V6 diesel which must be experienced to be appreciated for its smooth, quiet power.

The craftsmanship throughout this boat is remarkable -- the stainless work, the joinery and the tough fiberglass layup.

The main photo shows a kayak and crab pots that do not go with the sale.
