Being sold as a Renovation Project, this is an Ex Ring Netter Trawler originally built in 1949 by Weatherheads of Cockenzie as a herring fishing skiff. Her original Kelvin K4 engine was replaced by a 120hp T4 in 1961 and in 1991 she was retired from fishing when she was then converted by Weatherheads into a liveaboard motor yacht with a new wheelhouse and railings. A steel coachroof was installed in the late 90's to replace the wooden original which runs from the wheelhouse to forward of the saloon, this is awaiting lining. There is a hatch central forward on the coachroof and there is another hatch in the forward berths cabin. The engine room has a door in the central bulkhead and a laddered hatchway aft of the engine.

The hull was partially re-nailed and completely re-caulked and painted in 2012. Partially stripped, the renovation is currently ongoing with the front of the wheelhouse replaced in Jan 2013 and given new windows and framework. The deck has been damaged by fresh water over a period of five years and now requires either sanded/planed down and the edges replaced in areas. The foredeck woodwork is serviceable and the rib-heads also require either scarfed or replaced by pairing up with new wood.

Her hull is constructed of carvel planking, larch on oak and is very clean and was treated during the strip down in 2012. Painted with two coats of primer, two coats of gloss topside, two coats of oil based primer and anti fouled below the waterline, further pictures are available of the whole process which cost £2895. Zinc anodes were also replaced and all hull fittings were serviced too. The keel band is of heavy steel and is in excellent condition.

Last survey report 08/06/2011 ...with much of the advisory work being completed in March 2012.
