Broker's Comments
If you’re looking for an easy to sail, very comfortable for it’s size, economical, modern cruiser then this Bavaria 30 Cruiser could be for you. Clean, tidy & dry, this example has had light usage and presents in excellent condition. She was built at the end of 2006 and commissioned and sold to her first owners in 2007.
Fitted with wheel steering, a comprehensive navigation suite on the binnacle, an in-mast reefing main, a furling headsail and lines led back to self tailing winches in the cockpit, this vessel is ideal for family or short handed coastal/cross Channel sailing.
Light and airy, the accommodation is surprisingly spacious with good headroom and is well laid out for family comfort. For those wet weather days alongside, the living space extends into the cockpit with a full cockpit enclosure, handy folding wheel and cockpit table with built-in icebox.
Down below there are berths for 6, with two generous double cabins and a 2 further singles in the saloon. The heads compartment, situated aft of the forward facing Nav station, is fitted with a sink, shower and hot & cold water.
The transom gate and sugar scoop stern enables easy access to and from a tender, whilst the cockpit shower and swim ladder are very handy for those wanting to take a dip in the sea.
There are many well-thought-out features incorporated into this compact cruiser and, at just under 10m in size, marina costs should be fairly reasonable and so highly recommended for economic running costs.
