Broker's Comments

The Oyster 34 is a fast racer cruiser. This example has been in the same ownership for 25 years and has won offshore & inshore races & even participated in the Fastnet. We're told she can still hold her own in any race and put up a good turn of speed in most conditions. Please see some of the trophies won in the attached photograph.

This vessel is now being offered for sale due to the owners age & health. They would love to see her go to a new owner who is keen to put her through her paces and win further racing trophies.

We believe that there were only ever three or possibly four of these yachts manufactured before Oyster began to produce the UFO 34, another speedy and seaworthy yacht.

There is quite a comprehensive sail wardrobe included to suit differing conditions. The headsail foil is fitted with twin headstay grooves for speedy changes. There are plenty of lines leading aft, through a system of blocks, clutches and winches to control sails for maximum performance and the side decks are wide and easy to move around.

Down below there are plenty of berths (eight), a forward facing nav station, a separate heads compartment and plenty of hanging locker space. Plenty of family room.

Whether you're looking for a good passage making cruiser or a trophy winning racer, this is a well made yacht at a fair price that is well worth your consideration.
