Broker's Comments

This is a great boat for day sailing, club racing and short overnight trips.
She is a capable sea boat. A book, The Very Willing Griffen by David Blagden, recounts his crossing of the Atlantic singlehanded in a Hunter 19, Willing Griffen. On YouTube there is video of a Hunter 19 Europa sailing from Shetlands to Norway and back on a summer cruise.
The shoal draft of this boat allows sailing and anchoring well inshore to places other yachts cannot reach. The centre keel is ballasted whereas the two bilge keels are unballasted and profiled to provided to improve upwind performance.
The sub 6m overall length offers cheaper marina berthing.
The boat/trailer arrangement allows movement of the boat to alternative moorings around the country for further adventures.
The trailer allows the flexibility of saving costs by keeping the boat on a mooring in summer and storing at an alternative location in winter.
The 3.5hp 4 stroke outboard motor on a lifting bracket gives plenty of power to push the boat along when winds are light or against you.
There is a Simrad TP10 tiller pilot to assist with single handed sailing if needed.
This yacht appears to be in good condition and is a low cost route into simple keelboat sailing.
