Broker's Comments
Built in France to Jeanneau's exacting construction standards, the Sun Odyssey 37 is a performance-oriented sailing cruiser with spacious accommodation. They were rightly proud of the innovative details of her design at the time, smooth curves and clean lines mean she hasn't dated
This particular version is shoal draft, allowing for a much more varied cruising area and berthing opportunities. Both sails are furling and all lines lead aft into the cockpit so handling under sail is about as easy as it gets. There is a comprehensive suite of navigation instruments at the helm and in general she is well equipped with safety and cruising gear.
Down below the three cabin layout gives plenty of space for family and friends or storage for extended cruising. All the double berths are a good size and the cabins have ample storage. Heads and galley are practically laid out and clean and light and the saloon provides comfortable seating, dining or additional berths if required
This is a nice example of a well liked production boat. Recently she has been in the care of a good local yard and has had her windows all out and rebedded, a deep interior clean and checked over mechanically. She would benefit from some upgrading however the price reflects this. The owner is very keen to sell and so offers on the asking price are welcomed
