This Sigma 36 has been owned by her current owner for over 30 years. She has cruised extensively around the Mediterranean. The owner is a very experienced yachts man and engineer and she is presented in top class condition for her year. The matrix has been strengthened in the keel area and the stringers. The keel bolts have been changed from mild steel to tungsten. There have been various upgrades including being
re-engined to a Beta 30hp. She comes with a new set of sails, spray hood and a Bimini.
The only fault that I could find is the headlining in the forward cabin is sagging slightly.
The accommodation has a forward cabin with a double. The heads are starboard with a hanging locker opposite. The main saloon has ample room around the cabin table with 2 settee berths and 2 pilot berths. The navigation station is starboard with a good sized galley opposite and just behind is a large double sized aft cabin. The teak interior has been well maintained and the saloon and forward cabin have been reupholstered.
She is a capable performance cruiser and would not disgrace herself in club racing. She is rewarding to sail yet is easy to handle under sail or manoeuvring in tight marina spaces. She has been set up for singlehanded sailing with sheets led back to the cockpit.
This yacht is ready to go, she has recently had her engine serviced.
Just add water and enjoy.
