Broker's Comments
This Holman & Pye designed Super Sovereign 35 Ketch has been under the same ownership for over 18 years with the present owner spending between £5 and £7K each year on maintenance and improvements this includes new engine 2018. A solid blue water ocean cruiser, this well known vessel comes with a website. This vessel in in commission and ready to go and would make a very comfortable family cruising yacht although she is also quite competitive given her age and design and has raced in many a round the island race. She is rigged for single handed sailing and comes with many, many extras.
This window and hatch seals are good and the windows appear in good condition - the vessel is dry inside. The teak decks show signs of wear comparable with her age as does the general condition of her hull finish, coachroof and cockpit areas.
These classic blue water cruisers have more than proved themselves with their seakeeping qualities. At least one has been sailed single handedly across the North Atlantic.
A traditional, classic, ketch rigged blue water cruiser with several thousand pound of improvements and maintenance, well worth consideration.
