Broker's Comments
From the drawing board of famed Marine Architect, Ed Dubois this was a boat designed to please the racing enthusiast but still accommodate the cruising family. The Typhoon is considered by many to be the peak of Westerly achievement.
Cast an eye over the Typhoon and it's clear to see why these boats are renowned for being light on the helm, wonderfully responsive and fast. The raked back rig, slim lines and sharp bow all give an indication of the performance one can expect from this highly capable racer/cruiser.
The boat has had one owner from new and benefits from a lifetime of care and attention. While aboard I was amazed at how well the interior presents. There is minimal wear, the floors and headlining's are in excellent condition for the age of the boat as is the galley and both heads. Externally the condition is mirrored, the gelcoat looks great after a recent cut and polish and the hull, freshly antifouled.
Possibly the cleanest example of this sought after performance cruiser currently available for sale. Please feel free to contact us for more information if this desirable yacht interests you.
