Broker's Comments
The Dehler 33 is a fast performing sailboat with a good reputation for build quality, comfortable spacious interior and attractive lines.
This particular example has extremely knowledgeable owners and has been well maintained and serviced throughout.
Mechanically and electrically she appears to be in very good order. The batteries are recent and all wiring tidy and the engine has had light but regular use.
The decks are clear and uncluttered with lines leading neatly aft over the coachroof. The cockpit is well set up with wireless instruments mounted above the companionway and the mainsheet track running aft of the helm allowing her to be raced or cruised safely and in comfort
Down below she is smart looking, was found bright and clean and smelled fresh. The berths are all good sizes and there is plenty of light and ventilation to all cabins. Storage is useable and ample for a boat of this size and there is easily space to fit heating and hot water if required.
For me the key to the Dehler 33 is her simplicity. Easy to sail, fun to sail well, easy to maintain and comfortable to spend time on. What sailing is all about!
