She has a shallow draft Tandem keel- perfect for the shallow areas and brilliant for going close to wind!
Etap is very well known for being near on unsinkable with a foam core twin skin GRP hull this has been proven to not sink! A 21i was put to the test on the english channel and flooded through the seacocks approximately with 2,000 litres of water on board she stayed a float! An Etap 24 was also put to the test this time crossing the channel twice in a day completely flooded!

Broker's Comments
As a keen dinghy sailer of 15 years I always look at the next step up which is usally 19-23ft trailer sailers. They usually all have the same lay out in the cabin with a small cockpit area enough for a few people to cramp in however the Etap is a real game changer, a large cockpit area that could fit a small family with ease and a really cosy cabin where instead of feeling cramped you really can feel at home (all be it you might still struggle to stand up!)
Etap is very well known for making incredibly solid boats perfect for gentle cruising or even being a competitive racer in class. The tandem keel makes it incredible going tight up wind as well as great for cruising shallow areas.
This example has been lovingly looked after by two very enthusiastic sailors. There is nothing of note that made me think negatively of her, there's some small marks on the upholstery and the running rigging could do with updating but other than that she is a really clean and tidy boat. The sails seem OK with very few marks on her.
The Etap is very likely a boat I will be looking at in the future for myself!
