Broker's Comments
A Gift From God - FOR SALE - Gibraltar.
The F&C 44' Ketch is a 13.4m monohull sailboat designed by German Frers (America Cup, around the world design winner) and built by Alberto Cibil in 1985. This boat is a modern classic and hull K57 of 60 hand built. She is a rare yacht with lovely lines, a rich wood interior, and great sailing characteristics. She is ready to sail. This boat is very well cared for and is in very good condition. She doesn’t require anti-fouling as per most vessels as her hull is full (below the waterline) copper coated. This was put in place two years ago and will not require renewing until 2030. Retention of her berth is possible subject the the marina’s agreement and terms and conditions.
Dick Carter the famous yacht designer once said when asked "how do you know which boat is the one Dick? Dick answered with "You will hear the violins play" The F&C 44' ketch is a yacht you might just hear the violins play.
The F&C 44' is a fast, beautiful, go anywhere Blue Water cruising yacht with a strong fiberglass hull and deck with teak overlay. (The deck of this boat was refurbished across the winters of 2020 -2021. The interior is finished with impeccably crafted mahogany. The horizon for this boat is endless.
