Broker's Comments
Please note that the mast has just been damaged in the recent high winds and we are awaiting an insurance evaluation!
The Gibsea 262 is a modern family cruising boat with plenty of space and accommodation with an aft double and the double upfront, plus 2 singles in the saloon. This boat has been kept up at Windermere for many years but the keel was bent in the Dec 21' storm and the boat went to Glasson for insurance repairs. The marina at Glasson have fitted a new keel and cable, serviced the engine, polished the hull and anti fouled her. The eberspacher has been sent away for a service but will be back soon. Impact Marine in Carnforth have just cleaned the sails and replaced the UV strips. For use on the sea she would need some navigation equipment and a VHF radio fitting.
