The GibSea 414 is the Cruising Version designed by Rob Humphries as a comfortable cruiser racer. The hull has very modern lines and still looks good. The decks are a joy to walk around, elegant and uncluttered. She has a Lead fin keel so she will perform well and be very competitive at club racing level but she has the good manners of a cruiser. In 1994 The Gib'Sea 414 voted "Le Bateau de L'annee 1995" at the Paris Boat Show. Awarded by the French magazine BATEAUX and selected by a group of European magazines. Only the second non-French designer to win this prestigious award. This boat is currently out of the water, she has had her keel stripped back and benefits from copper coating below the water line.

Broker's Comments

This Gibsea 414 sailing yacht is an outstanding vessel. You can see by her lovely lines that she has a fantastic pedigree but do note that this is the cruising version so she is very smooth and responsive to handle. I was very impressed by the uncluttered decks, deep cockpit, and great helm position. The swim platform can be manually lowered/raised too. The interior is fabulously cavernous. The attention to detail in terms of layout and storage is wonderful. The upholstery still looks good , but some people may have more modern tastes. A fantastic yacht that will attract both recent and seasoned sailors. If I had the funds then I would be seriously interested in this fine yacht.
Note: Rib with 9hp outboard available by separate negotiation.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
