Broker's Comments
Stepping aboard this Jeanneau Sun Fizz 40 you get a real feel for her sea-going and ocean racing capabilities. This vessel has been in the same ownership for nearly 30 years.
The owner informs me of the following details and that she has been extensively upgraded to ocean racing safety standards and hold a Lloyds registry.
Her Cockpit has Teak laid seats and floor complete with four U-bolt safety harness anchor points, autohelm with a backup Navico system, hot & cold cockpit shower, removable cockpit table and a bracket for the outboard.
Newly fitted this year were re-engineered engine mounts, a new cutlass bearing, and a fixed 2 bladed prop were fitted around two years ago. Her engine was decoked about 5 years ago and the injection pump was rebuilt by lancing marine to cope with bio diesel along with the gearbox being rebuilt along with new clutch plates. Around six years ago a new exhaust elbow was fitted.
The hull was epoxied from new and again in 2002 by the current owner and then re epoxied the hull using Hempel epoxy for good measure.
This Jeanneau Sun Fizz 40 is quite a rare vessel to come onto the market and one of this standard with her accommodation being much improved over the years, along with the upgraded safety equipment, makes for the complete package for coastal cruising or some serious ocean racing!
