Broker's Comments
You don't see many Sun Legende 41's come to the market I was amazed as I stepped down the companionway what a beautifully designed interior. She is so open and light and airey gorgeous wood throughout and clearly appears to have been well cared for and maintained. She has two heads and 2 main cabins, a very spacious saloon and the outdoor space matches I also liked the added aft cockpit seats on the pushpit. She is a lot of boat!
Some notes from the owner:
Jeanneau withdrew the launching of the Sun Legende 41 at the London Boat Show as there was a long industrial dispute at their manufacturing HQ. They focussed on the French and American markets. This is the reason there are very few Legendes in the UK.One of Jeanneau's salesmen told me when I suggested I was thinking about buying a new Odyssey said that in his view the Legende 41 was a superior yacht so why change. The American designer Doug Peterson was the most prolific yacht designers during the seventies and eighties winning many awards and races. His Sun Fast 41 followed the Legende and similarly achieved success as a fast and comfortable blue water cruising yacht. The first impression of the interior after descending the companion way is how large, light and welcoming the main cabin and galley are with teak everywhere. The owners' layout with two heads. Only two owners, the current owner for 24 years.- With the new Sanders sails and folding propshe sails better than ever. She points well and screams on a reach. She doesn't slam. I will miss her!
She has an insurance survey available March 2023.
