Broker's Comments
Boatshed Essex are pleased to be offering this Maxi 84 for sale. These boats are well known as capable and fast cruisers, suited to both extended cruising and club racing.
The cockpit is spacious, including a deep lazarette locker and the rig is designed for ease of use for shorthanded sailing. Side decks provide plenty of space for going forward as does the foredeck for anchoring, working the sails and mooring. Down below the pace and pleasant finish continues with a separate, double forward cabin, separate heads, a roomy saloon and galley, and finally a good sized quarter berth.
This version looks to have been well cared for throughout its life with significant, recent, investment and work undertaken by the current owner. The boat has been re-upholstered, has new standing rigging, sea toilet and hoses. The stack pack is also recent, along with an engine service and a survey.
If you are looking for a tidy cruiser racer, then this boat should seriously be considered. If you would like any further information or to arrange a personal viewing then please contact our office and we would be pleased to help.
