Broker's Comments
This is a particularly nice example of the ever popular MG Spring 25. It is equipped as a fast cruiser with racing aspirations. To that end it has a decent-looking set of racing sails, a double-spreader rig and more bits of tweaking string than that at which you can shake a stick. In addition to the sails there is a spinnaker and cruising chute of recent vintage, and a non-furling No. 2 genoa that is pretty much unused. The cruising chute is flown from a rather natty demountable bowsprit secured by pin in the bow roller. Cockpit instrumentation includes a couple of modern Garmin multi instrument displays. While I was there the engine started readily and ran as smoothly as a Yanmar 1GM10 single pot is capable of doing. Down below, the upholstery and interior cloth work all look in good nick, and the whole parcel is jolly neat and tidy. You may struggle to find a nicer example at this price.
A purpose designed and built RM twin axle braked trailer is available by separate negotiation. The owner is willing to deliver the boat anywhere in the UK in return for reasonable expenses.
