Boatshed North Wales International Yacht Brokers were very pleased to sponsor this year’s Abersoch Keel Boat Week at the end of August.

The Regatta was also the North Wales IRC area championships and was raced under the burgee of SCYC.
It was a windy week and there were some challenging conditions but the sailing was brilliant and the parties great fun.
The SCYC setting is spectacular, with amazing views of the Cardigan Bay and ideal sailing waters.
The event and courses were well organised and there was some very tightly won races.
Thursday was “Sponsors Day”, and Rob and Andy from Boatshed North Wales launched two boats and drove all the sponsors around the course to watch the races at close quarters and then took them back to the clubhouse for lunch. A great day was had by all!
Boatshed will definitely be back as a sponsor next year for another great week of sailing in Abersoch
