Broker's Comments

Boatshed London are delighted to offer this 20m Dutch Barge for sale with London mooring on the river at Chelsea Harbour. This is a unique opportunity to acquire a berth and boat in a superb location at a fraction of the price of some of the barges in the nearby area.

Totally refurbished in 2013, this vessel offers both comfortable living and the opportunity to cruise UK and European waters.

The age of the hull is unknown (estimated 1930's, constructed with riveted steel) is reported to be in good condition in a survey in 2015. The modern deck and superstructure follow the classic design and lines of a Luxemotor Dutch Barge.

With two cabins and two heads, a large open plan saloon and galley, the accommodation is light and bright, with plenty of storage space.

The enviable residential mooring offers a high level of privacy, with panoramic views across the river. As a guide, the current mooring fees are circa £12,000 per annum, but potential buyers must make their own enquiries with the mooring management prior to purchase. There will be an application process in order to take over the mooring, but this is not onerous.
