Broker's Comments
While relatively unfamiliar to UK boaters, the Morgan brand is well-known in the USA, where this one was made in 1981. There they enjoy a fine reputation, similar to that of Westerly in the UK, for making solid, well-built and capable cruisers. The standard of build is notable, both in her construction and in the quality and weight of the timber that warms so much of the interior. Take a look at the photos of the fore-cabin lockers and the folding saloon table to get an idea of what I mean. This example has been cruised extensively but is now up for sale as its owners have decided to put down roots in the UK. They have looked after her well; she is very tidy both above and below decks, with recent new cloth-work and re-upholstery apparent. This cruiser represents excellent value for money.
