Happy New Year from Boatshed Scotland HQ
As we said goodbye to the last day of 2019, Largs Bay and Largs Yacht Haven was resplendent with colour on what was a beautifully clear night with stunning views to the Cumbraes and beyond.
With the first snow on the hills of Arran it felt like spring was not too far away. Wrong!! No sooner were we back in the swing of things this week and the wind and rain came back with a vengeance.
It's amazing how many enquiries have come in to us over the festive season, not just from people looking to view or buy a boat but from people considering selling. It may only be the first week in January with many of you thinking it'll be months before you're back on the water but now's the time to talk to us.
If you've made that decision already, one of the main factors to consider is how it looks right now and if any repair works or improvements need carried out in order to make it more attractive to a buyer. It's not the ideal time for us to be photographing a boat but it IS the ideal time to talk to us and discuss your options.
Whatever your reason for being on the water this year, there's an awful lot to look forward to in Scotland with the launch of Visit Scotland's Year of Coast and Waters 2020. There's much to explore and this is the year to do it.
May we wish you all the very best for 2020 with a year of great sailing and incredible memories.
